CPRG, in collaboration with AI4India, played a pivotal role in the official side event at the AI Action Summit 2025, held in Paris. As the only Indian non-governmental organization participating, CPRG emphasized its leadership in advancing ethical, inclusive AI development, particularly for the Global South. The event gathered global experts to address the critical challenges emerging economies face in the adoption and deployment of AI, with a focus on the unique data-related obstacles they encounter

The session brought together influential voices from key institutions, including UNESCO and the European Commission, to discuss how data gaps, infrastructure issues, and policy challenges affect AI implementation in developing regions. CPRG’s involvement highlighted its commitment to ensuring that AI technologies are not only innovative but also equitable, promoting a more balanced global tech policy. This event underscored CPRG's efforts to influence international discourse on building AI that is fair, accessible, and beneficial to all regions, especially those in the Global South.

The dialogue served as a crucial platform to address how global tech policies can adapt to ensure that emerging economies are not left behind in the AI revolution. By engaging in these critical discussions, CPRG reinforced its role in shaping a more inclusive global AI landscape, one that prioritizes sustainable development and ethical considerations.
